Can we bring in our own food and beverages?
Sorry, no. Spring Hill provides all food and beverages. Exceptions are sometimes made for certain specialty items, and we gladly prepare special items and a favorite recipe. Please contact us for more details.
Can we have our wedding ceremony at Spring Hill? What does it cost?
You are welcome to hold your ceremony on our beautiful scenic property for an additional $5 per person set up and break down fee. Our outdoor space can accommodate up to 200 seated guests. We will provide and set up white chairs for your wedding ceremony. We have an onsite arch available as well as seasonal decor to help decorate your outdoor ceremony.
How far in advance can we book our wedding?
Most couples make firm reservations between six months and one year in advance. Spring Hill is a very popular wedding venue. We typically fill May-Sep Saturdays the year prior. We are happy to check availability for the date you have in mind.
How much of a deposit is required?
Spring Hill requires a $1,000 non-refundable deposit to confirm your date. Six months from your booking date we require an additional non-refundable deposit of $3,000 to complete the Venue Services fee. The final guarantee of guests attending is needed 14 days prior to your event at which time final payment is required.
Are there any extra set up fees?
No. There are no hidden costs in our package prices. All setup and cleanup; chairs and tables, china, glassware, silverware, skirting and linens are included. We also include coffee, tea, water and certified bartenders. Menu prices are subject to 20% service charge and Maine sales tax.
When will the room be available to set up the day of the wedding?
The room will be available for decorating no earlier than 9:00 am, unless other arrangements are agreed upon. In cases where your event takes place between 6:30 pm and midnight, the room will be available for decorating and DJ/Band setup one hour prior to the event.
Can you recommend any local vendors or accommodations?
Yes, although we don't endorse or have partnerships with specific vendors or service providers. That said, we have certainly had the chance to work with a wide variety of service providers, and we are glad to offer suggestions for local vendors and accommodations upon request.
